Healthier You Update: My Lunch Trick

Another month, in the books! How have you done on this month’s Healthier You challenge? Have you increased your fruits and vegetables?

 

I’ve done OK, I’m sure I could have done better. Fruits are fairly easy for me, it’s the veggies that take special attention.

 

I’ve been making a big salad in the morning (with enough for the next day) for lunches. I realized that often, the reason I don’t want salad for lunch is that it takes too long to make. When I get to a stopping point in my work and I’m ready for lunch, I’m pretty much ready now! Problem solved. Make your salad when you’re not hungry! 

Here’s my lunch from today. It was yummy and oh so easy to fix. I just had to add the cheese, meat and dressing.

 

Don’t forget to keep up with your exercising (from January’s challenge) and keep working on those fruits and veggies!

If you’re following Crystal’s plan, you’ll be making sure you get enough water each day.

I’m going to take a detour for this month. I do OK with water (try slicing up a strawberry into your water.) and I have something else that’s demanding my attention right now. Come back for next week’s checkin and I’ll tell you all about it.
